Santa Ana: Occupants Inside Reportedly Stolen Vehicle Stopped At Gunpoint

12.06.2020 | 11:10 PM | SANTA ANA – Two people inside a reportedly stolen vehicle were stopped at gunpoint by police, late Sunday night.

The incident unfolded in the 1100 block of East Saint Andrew Place, near South Standard avenue, around 11:10 PM when officers spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

The red Dodge Charger was occupied by a male driver and female passenger who complied with officers after being stopped at gunpoint.

Both individuals were detained pending further investigation and a crime scene was established.

No additional information regarding the circumstances of the auto theft were immediately available.
