08.30.2026 | 11:29 PM | SANTA ANA – A SUV toppled vehicles in a home’s driveway before slamming into the side of the residence, late Sunday night.
The collision occurred at a home in the 700 block of South Shawnee Drive around 11:29 PM, according to radio traffic.
When authorities arrived they found a newer-model white Honda Passport had collided with the side of a single-story home, the radio traffic and video from the scene indicated.
Initial reports indicate the female driver of the Honda accelerated instead of braking resulting in the vehicle driving over two vehicles parked in the driveway and coming to rest against the home.
While the home sustained obvious damage, the impact the collision reportedly did not affect the building’s structural integrity and no injuries were reported.
