Santa Ana: Nothing Found After Neighbors Report Suspicious Odor

05.21.2021 | 12:22 AM | SANTA ANA – A hazmat team found no threat to public safety after responding to a suspicious odor call, early Friday morning.

Neighbors reported a suspicious odor at a home in the 1300 block of West 7th Street around 12:22 AM.

Police and fire officials responded to the scene and evacuated nearby homes before entering the home in question.

No chemicals or other hazards were located and residents were able to repopulate their homes by 1:30 AM.

Additionally information regarding what prompted the call was not immediately available.
