Orange: Man Injured After Reportedly Attempting Backflip From Parking Structure

07.11.2021 | 1:55 AM | ORANGE – A man in his 20s was injured after reportedly trying to perform a backflip off a parking structure, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a 21-year-old male who had sustained a traumatic injury near a parking structure located in the 100 block of North Lemon Street around 1:55 AM.

The 21-year-old male had sustained possible head and neck injuries after attempting to perform a backflip from the parking structure, according to radio traffic.

Video from the scene showed fire officials treating a male victim inside an ambulance before rushing him to an area hospital. The man’s condition was not immediately known.

Police appeared to interview several bystanders at the scene but their involvement and the circumstances surrounding the backflip attempt were not immediately known.
