11.01.2020 | 12:20 AM | IRVINE – A window was smashed during an apparent burglary at a Starbucks, early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to reports of a burglary in progress at the Starbucks located in the 16500 block of Von Karman Avenue around 12:20 AM.
Units arriving on scene learned the suspect had smashed a large window to the store before entering and later fleeing prior to their arrival.
The suspect was not immediately located despite the efforts of a police helicopter.
It was unclear what items might have been taken from the store.
