Santa Ana: Gun Violence Continues As Another Man Is Struck By Gunfire

01.31.2022 | 1:28 AM | SANTA ANA – A man hospitalized after being struck by gunfire in another instance of gun violence, early Monday morning.

The shooting was reported near a residence in the 1400 block of West Civic Center Drive, near North Bristol Street, around 1:28 AM.

When authorities arrived they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before rushing him to an area hospital in stable condition.

The suspected shooter was described only as a Hispanic male adult who fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

The shooting follows a deadly weekend in Santa Ana where one person was killed and two others were injured as a result of gunfire.
