09.09.2021 | 10:57 PM | SANTA ANA – A man was shot to death just an hour after another shooting left a man injured, Thursday night.
The fatal shooting was reported in the 1000 block of West Brook Street, near South Shelton Street, shortly before 11:00 PM.
Units arriving on scene located what appeared to be an adult male down suffering from a gunshot wound.
Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before rushing them to an area hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.
Witnesses said they heard about three gunshots but added that thunder muffled the sound of the gunfire.
No suspect description or motive was immediately available.
Another shooting just an hour prior left another man injured however it was unclear if the incidents were related.
