Santa Ana: Man Shot Multiple Times Near Apartment Complex

09.09.2021 | 8:56 PM | SANTA ANA – A man was rushed to a hospital after being shot near an apartment complex, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of shots fired near the Horizon Apartments, located in the 2400 block of North Tustin Avenue, shortly before 9:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an adult male down in the apartment complex parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police treated the man until firefighter paramedics arrived on scene to takeover medical treatment and rush the man to an area trauma center.

Several shell casings were discovered in the parking lot prompting officers to cordon off the vicinity while crime scene investigators documented the area.

No suspect description or motive was immediately available.
