08.13.2021 | 11:24 PM | SANTA ANA – A fire broke out inside a boarded up and apparently abandoned home but was quickly extinguished by firefighters, late Friday night.
The fire was reported in the 2000 block of North Bush Street around 11:24 PM.
Crews arriving on scene located heavy smoke showing from a single-story home that had been boarded up and was apparently abandoned.
Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack and worked to access the interior of the home to extinguish the blaze.
The fire was reported out in about 10 minutes but crews were remaining on scene to conduct overhaul to ensure the fire does not reignite.
No injuries were reported and fire investigators are on scene investigating the cause of the blaze.
Another fire broke out inside a vacant home in the city just days earlier on August 12 but there is no evidence to suggest the fires were related.
