08.12.2021 | 1:56 AM | SANTA ANA – A fire inside a reportedly vacant home was quickly extinguished by firefighters before it could spread, early Thursday morning.
The fire broke out at a home in the 2200 block of South Standard Avenue, near Warner Avenue, around 1:56 AM.
Firefighters located heavy smoke from a fire inside a bedroom of the reportedly vacant home and worked to quickly extinguish the blaze.
The bulk of the fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes but crews remained on scene while they worked to evacuate smoke from the building.
No injuries to civilians or firefighters were immediately reported.
An investigation to determine the cause of the fire is underway.
