07.14.2022 | 4:20 PM | WESTMINSTER – A suspect being sought in connection with a deadly stabbing at a gas station was identified by police, Thursday evening.
Trent William Millsap, 27, a transient known to frequent the Westminster, Garden Grove, and Anaheim areas, is suspected of fatally stabbing another man at a gas station, police said.
Officers responded to the 76 Gas Station, located in the 6300 block of Westminster Boulevard, following reports of a stabbing around 5:51 PM on Wednesday, Jul. 13, 2022.
When authorities arrived they found a 38-year-old male victim, believed to be a transient, that had been stabbed in the chest and began rendering aid.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Detectives suspect Millsap stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
Millsap, who has an active parole warrant and should be considered armed and dangerous, is described as a male white standing 6-feet 5-inches tall with a muscular build, bald head, and tattoos over his face, head, neck, arms, and hands. He is known to frequent motels in the Westminster, Garden Grove, and Anaheim areas.
The identity of the 38-year-old victim was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
