Westminster: Man Intentionally Struck & Killed By Driver

01.04.2021 | 8:30 PM | WESTMINSTER – A driver who intentionally ran over and killed a man in a driveway is being sought, police announced Tuesday.

The fatal collision involving a pedestrian was reported in in the 6500 block of Walt Street around 5:22 AM on Monday, January 3, according to a press release.

When officers arrived they found a male victim deceased in the driveway of the home. Further investigation revealed that the victim had been a pedestrian who was intentionally struck with a vehicle.

The driver that struck the man fled the scene in a vehicle described as an older model gray of black Jeep Grand Cherokee with custom chrome wheels and a roof rack

The Jeep is missing a side headlight housing that was recovered at the scene and may have a broken taillight along with extensive damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

The identity of the victim was withheld pending the notification of his next-of-kin.
