Westminster: Man Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle

03.14.2022 | 12:38 PM | WESTMINSTER – A man died after being struck by a vehicle, Monday afternoon.

The collision was reported in the 8600 block of Westminster Boulevard around 12:38 PM.

When units arrived on scene they located an approximately 65 to 70 year-old male pedestrian down in the roadway.

First responders treated the man on scene before rushing him to UCI Medical Center where, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries about an hour later.

The driver that struck the pedestrian remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.

Drugs or alcohol were not believed to have played a role in the crash although the incident remains under investigation.
