Tustin: Woman Extricated From Vehicle After Crash

10.21.2023 | 12:01 AM | TUSTIN – A woman who became trapped in her vehicle after a crash was freed by firefighters and rushed to a hospital, early Saturday morning.

The traffic collision was reported on Walnut Avenue near Cherrywood Lane around midnight.

When authorities arrived they located a single white Ford Edge with major damage after apparently colliding with a center divider.

The female driver and solo occupant was trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed by firefighters in an operation that lasted about 10 minutes.

Medics rushed the woman to a nearby trauma center with a police officer in tow. Her condition was not immediately available though she appeared conscious.

Police are investigation the circumstances surrounding the collision including potential intoxication.
