07.13.2019 | 1:32 AM | TUSTIN – A suspected DUI driver was hospitalized after crashing through a construction site and unfinished bridge, early Saturday morning.
Authorities responded to the reported crash on the unfinished bridge on Moffett Drive over the Peters Canyon Riverbed near Jamboree Road.
Units arriving on scene found a pickup truck that had crashed through a road closure and traveled through a construction site and over an unfinished bridge before coming to rest against a fence.
Firefighter paramedics treated the male driver on scene before transporting him to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Officers were investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash including the role of drugs and/or alcohol.
