Tustin: Reckless Driving Suspect Arrested After Motorcycle Pursuit

11.10.2021 | 11:40 PM | TUSTIN – A reckless driving suspect was apprehended after leading officers on a motorcycle pursuit that ended when the suspect fled into a backyard, early Thursday morning.

The pursuit began around 11:40 PM when Fountain Valley police attempted to stop a motorcyclist that was observed driving recklessly near the intersection of Edinger Avenue and Harbor Boulevard.

The motorcycle failed to yield to officers, fleeing eastbound on Edinger Avenue prompting a pursuit that continued through Santa Ana and into Tustin before being called off.

A police helicopter continued to follow the motorcycle rider who later ditched his bike and fled into a home located in the 14300 block of Cherrywood Lane.

Police surrounded the home and ordered the suspect, along with two other individuals, out of the home.

The suspect was quickly apprehended without further incident while the two other individuals were released without charges.
