Tustin: Massive Carport Fire Destroys 10+ Vehicles

12.02.2023 | 8:48 PM | TUSTIN – A massive carport fire destroyed or damaged 13 vehicles in an apartment complex, Saturday night.

The fire was reported in an apartment complex located in the 1400 block of Walnut Avenue, near Red Hill Avenue, around 8:48 PM.

When units arrived on scene they located a carport and numerous cars engulfed by well established flames and began efforts to extinguish the blaze.

Using multiple hose lines firefighters were able to douse the majority of the flames in about 30 minutes.

Officials said 13 vehicles were damages or destroyed in the blaze and video shows heavy damage to at least 10 vehicles.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
