Trabuco Canyon: Fiery Crash Results In Serious Injuries

08.28.2021 | 11:04 PM | TRABUCO CANYON – Three people were injured after a fiery crash, late Saturday night.

The crash was reported around 11:05 PM at the intersection of Live Oak Canyon and El Toro roads.

Units arriving on scene located a grey Nissan Frontier that had ran off the roadway, striking a power pole before bursting into flames.

Three occupants from the vehicle were ejected, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

First responders quickly extinguished the vehicle fire before it could spread to nearby brush and treated the victims on scene.

All three victims were transported to Mission Hospital. One of the victims had major injuries, the log indicated.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
