Stanton: Man In Road Struck & Killed By Vehicle

09.05.2021 | 10:45 PM | STANTON – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle while in a roadway, Sunday night.

The crash involving a pedestrian was reported in the 11200 block of Beach Boulevard, south of Katella Avenue, around 10:45 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a gold 2003 Toyota Corolla that had struck a male pedestrian.

Firefighter paramedics treated the pedestrian on scene before pronouncing them deceased.

The driver of the Toyota remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement. DUI was not suspected.

Preliminary reports indicate that the pedestrian was outside of a crosswalk in the roadway when he was struck.

All southbound lanes of Beach Boulevard are closed at Katella Avenue until further notice while authorities continue their investigation.
