Stanton: Hit & Run Driver Sought After Fatal Crash Involving Pedestrian

01.16.2022 | 2:45 AM | STANTON – A hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a female pedestrian was being sought by authorities, early Sunday morning.

Deputies discovered a female adult in her 50s down on Beach Boulevard at Lampson Avenue around 2:45 AM.

The woman was pronounced deceased and authorities determined she had been struck by the driver of a vehicle who fled the scene.

Authorities described the hit-and-run vehicle as an unknown color 2007-2009 Toyota Camry and asked anyone with information regarding the incident to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Department at (714) 647-7000.
