Silverado: Firefighters Prevent Car Fire From Spreading To Brush

12.05.2021 | 12:52 AM | SILVERADO – A car fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters before it could spread to nearby brush, early Sunday morning.

The vehicle fire was reported in northbound lanes of Santiago Canyon Road, about a quarter-mile north of Silverado Canyon Road, around 12:52 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a grey 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe that appeared to have struck the edge of the roadway before bursting into flames.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze before it could spread to nearby vegetation.

The driver of the vehicle was apparently uninjured and may have left the scene prior to the arrival of first responders.
