Santa Ana: Woman Dies After Ejection Crash

09.24.2022 | 1:45 PM | SANTA ANA – A woman died after being ejected from a vehicle that ran a red light, early Saturday morning.

The ejection crash was reported in the 1300 block of North Grand Avenue, near Santa Ana Boulevard, around 5:31 AM when a vehicle ran a red light and was struck another vehicle.

A female occupant from the vehicle that ran the red light was ejected and later died at a hospital.

An unknown number of occupants from from the woman’s vehicle fled the scene and are being sought by police.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.
