02.12.2022 | 12:26 AM | SANTA ANA – Another man was shot to death as weekends of violence continued in the city, early Saturday morning.
The shooting was reported in the 800 block of South Townsend Street around 12:26 AM.
When authorities arrived they located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
First responders attempted to revive the man but ultimately pronounced him deceased on scene.
The identity of the man was not immediately released and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
As many as eight people have been struck by gunfire in back-to-back weekend shootings in the city since the beginning of the year.
