Santa Ana: Violent Crash Rips Axle From Vehicle In Front Of Fire Station

04.10.2023 | 9:33 PM | SANTA ANA – A violent crash in front of a fire station ripped the axle from a vehicle but no major injuries were reported, Monday night.

The crash occurred near the intersection of South Greenville Street and Warner Avenue just outside of OCFA Fire Station No. 77 around 9:33 PM.

Firefighters rushed outside to the two-vehicle collision involving a blue and white 1987 Chevrolet K10 Suburban along with a silver Lexus SUV.

The Chevrolet’s rear axle was ripped off in the violent crash and ended up in the front lawn of a home.

Despite the damage only two minor injuries were immediately reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
