Santa Ana: Victim Injured In Shooting, Suspect Flees

10.17.2025 | 11:11 PM | SANTA ANA – A person in their mid-20s was injured by gunfire in a shooting and the suspect responsible fled the scene and is being sought by authorities, Friday night.

The shooting was reported in the 700 block of West Washington Avenue around 11:11 PM when an unknown assailant opened fire.

A person described by witnesses as being in their mid-20s was struck by the gunfire and later rushed to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

The suspect responsible for the shooting fled the scene and is being sought by authorities but additional information regarding the shooting was not immediately available.
