03.20.2023 | 9:21 PM | SANTA ANA – A woman mistakenly accelerated into a building and struck a pedestrian in the process, Monday night.
Callers reported a vehicle that crashed into the Stater Bros. Market, located in the 2300 block of North Tustin Avenue, around 9:21 PM.
When authorities arrived they located a silver 2012 Nissan Sentra that had collided with the front of grocery store, striking a male adult that was walking nearby in the process.
Medics treated the male pedestrian at the scene before rushing him to an area hospital where he was in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle, a female adult, was evaluated on scene but declined treatment.
Police investigating the incident determine that the collision was unintentional and that drugs nor alcohol were involved.
