Santa Ana: Unknown Driver Spills Hundreds of Peruvian Mangos

01.10.2023 | 11:05 PM | SANTA ANA – A large load of Peruvian Mangos were spilled across a freeway on ramp by an unknown driver, late Tuesday night.

The sticky incident was reported shortly after 11:00 PM on the northbound I-5 Freeway on ramp from Grand Avenue when callers reported seeing orange-colored fruit scattered across lanes.

Officers responded to the area where they located the spilled load of Peruvian Mangos blocking one of two on ramp lanes.

Authorities determined that the mangos did not pose a traffic hazard as passing vehicles effectively juiced the fruit.

There is no word on who might have spilled the mangos but their fair market value was estimated to be in the hundreds of dollars.
