Santa Ana: One Dead, Two Injured In House Party Shooting

02.07.2026 | 11:10 PM | SANTA ANA – One person was killed and two others were injured when gunfire erupted at a house party, late Saturday night.

The shooting occurred amid a house party being hosted at a home in the 700 block of South Broadway, around 11:10 PM.

When authorities arrived they found two males and one female suffering from gunshot wounds in the roadway adjacent to the home.

The victims, a 41-year-old male, a 20-year-old male, and a 37-year-old female, were treated on scene and rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The 41-year-old victim, identified as Moises Rufino Gil-Benitez of Santa Ana, later died at the hospital.

Video shows several people from the home hosting the house party being detained while police investigated.

No suspect information or motive was revealed and police are asking anyone with information regarding the triple shooting to contact Santa Ana Police Department homicide detectives at (714) 245-8390.
