Santa Ana: Shooting Victim Runs Into Food 4 Less For Help

02.05.2021 | 9:58 PM | SANTA ANA – A man drove to a Food 4 Less and ran inside after being shot multiple times, Friday night.

The victim called 911 shortly before 10:00 PM to report that he had been shot and was driving in the 2100 block of South Bristol Street, near Warner Avenue.

When officers arrived on scene they learned the victim had parked his vehicle and ran into a Food 4 Less for help.

Firefighter paramedics determined the victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and rushed him to an area trauma center in unknown condition.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting, including the location and any suspect descriptions, were not immediately available and it was unclear if the victim was cooperating with law enforcement.

Multiple shoppers were evacuated by police from the Food 4 Less while shooting investigation was underway.
