04.29.2022 | 5:29 AM | SANTA ANA – The driver of a sedan was killed in possible hit-and-run crash, early Friday morning.
The crash was reported on the southbound I-5 Freeway at the SR-22 Freeway shortly before 5:30 AM.
When authorities arrived they located a silver Toyota Corolla that had struck the left shoulder wall, a CHP incident log indicated.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced deceased on scene, according to the log.
Officers searched for another vehicle that may have been involved in the crash but did not immediately locate it.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
