Santa Ana: Police Render Aid To Man Shot In Legs

09.17.2021 | 7:38 PM | SANTA ANA – Police rendered aid to a man who had been shot in his legs near a bar, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting victim near The Red Turtle, a bar located in the 1000 block of South Fairview Street, near West McFadden Avenue, around 7:38 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male subject who had sustained gunshot wounds to his legs.

Officers rendered aid to the man and applied a tourniquet before firefighter paramedics rushed the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.

The man was not cooperating with law enforcement and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
