02.13.2022 | 9:47 PM | SANTA ANA – A pedestrian was struck and killed by vehicles, Sunday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a pedestrian down in the 2400 block of North Tustin Avenue, near East Franzen Avenue, around 9:47 PM.
When authorities arrived on scene they located a male pedestrian down in lanes after being struck by a vehicle.
Firefighter paramedics attempted to revive the pedestrian but ultimately pronounced him deceased on scene.
Officials say the pedestrian was walking in northbound lanes when they were struck by multiple vehicles.
All of the involved drivers remained on scene and were cooperating with law enforcement.
Drugs or alcohol were not believed to have played a role in the collision.
All lanes of North Tustin Avenue were closed between East Santa Clara and Fairhaven avenues while authorities investigated the fatal collision.
