04.20.2024 | 10:05 PM | SANTA ANA – A pedestrian was killed while crossing a street, Saturday night.
Authorities responded to multiple calls reporting a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 2100 block of North Bristol Street, near West 22nd Street, around 10:05 PM.
At the scene responders found an adult male down in the roadway and a grey sedan stopped nearby.
Medics pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The identity of the pedestrian was no disclosed.
The driver, who was uninjured, remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.
Police believe the pedestrian was walking westbound across northbound lanes of Bristol Street when he was struck.
Drugs nor alcohol were believed to have been a factor in the collision, police said.
