10.15.2023 | 10:03 PM | SANTA ANA – A man was killed by a hit-and-run driver who is being sought by police, Sunday night.
The deadly collision was reported by multiple individuals who called to report a pedestrian down in lanes on East Warner Avenue just east of South Brookhollow Drive shortly after 10:00 PM.
When authorities arrived they located the lifeless body of an adult male down in lanes and pronounced them deceased.
Several drivers stopped after seeing the downed man but the individual that struck the pedestrian fled the scene.
A description of the hit-and-run driver or their vehicle has not yet been disclosed.
All lanes of East Warner Avenue were closed between South Brookhollow Drive and Pullman Street for several hours while police investigated.
