Santa Ana: One Injured After Crash Possibly Caused By Power Outage

11.25.2021 | 12:28 AM | SANTA ANA- A two-car crash that left one person injured might have been caused by defective traffic signals after a power outage, early Thursday morning.

The crash was reported near the intersection of south Bristol Street and west McFadden Avenue shortly before 12:30 AM.

When units arrived on scene they located a crash involving two-vehicles, a grey Lexus sedan and a silver Toyota sedan, in the intersection.

One person from the Toyota was treated on scene before being rushed to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Video shows the traffic signals at the intersection without power however police said it was too early to determine whether the defective traffic signals played a role.

Many intersections across various Orange County cities were without power due to heavy Santa Ana winds in the region.
