Santa Ana: One Dead, Another Injured In Double Shooting

12.19.2025 | 11:23 PM | SANTA ANA – One 20-year-old man died and another was rushed to a hospital following a shooting, late Friday night.

Police responded to reports of a shooting with victims down at a home in the 500 block of South Marine Street around 11:23 PM.

When units arrived on scene they found two adult male victims who had been struck by gunfire.

One victim, later identified as 20-year-old Nathan Isaiah Saldana, of Santa Ana, was pronounced deceased on scene.

The second victim, a 21-year-old man, was treated by medics at the scene and rushed to a nearby hospital where he is in stable condition.

The shooting appeared to stem from an altercation at a party in the area and is believed to be gang-related.
