Santa Ana: Numerous Shots Fired At Home In Broad Daylight

10.21.2021 | 12:55 PM | SANTA ANA – A barrage of gunfire aimed at a home erupted in broad daylight, Thursday afternoon.

The gunfire was reported outside a home in the 2000 block of South Cedar Street, near East Saint Gertrude Place, shortly before 1:00 PM.

Officers arriving on scene discovered 10-15 shell casings in the street and learned that an unknown suspect in a vehicle had opened fire on a home.

Nobody was struck by the gunfire and the suspected shooter is believed to have fled in a vehicle.

No suspect description was immediately available and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
