Santa Ana: Motorcyclist Dies In Solo Crash

11.30.2021 | 7:55 PM | SANTA ANA – A 42-year-old motorcyclist was dead after a solo crash, Tuesday night.

The crash was reported near the intersection of East Dyer Road and South Pullman Street around 7:55 PM.

First responders arriving on scene located a white sport bike and its rider down in the roadway and attempted to render aid.

Despite their efforts the motorcyclist, later identified as 42-year-old John McVay, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, was pronounced deceased on scene by firefighter paramedics.

No other vehicles were believed to have been involved in the crash.

All westbound lanes of East Dyer Road were closed at Red Hill Avenue until further notice while authorities investigated.
