Santa Ana: Man Shot Multiple Times Dies

11.23.2024 | 8:51 PM | SANTA ANA – A 48-year-old man died after being shot multiple times and police are searching for the assailant responsible, Saturday night.

Callers reported the shooting in the 2000 block of South Wood Street around 8:51 PM.

When authorities arrived they located a male adult, later identified as 48-year-old Trino Steven Leon, of Anaheim, down in the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics rendered aid to Leon before transporting him to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Police are searching for the assailant responsible and are attempting to determine the motive surrounding the deadly shooting.
