05.23.2021 | 10:58 PM | SANTA ANA – A man was injured after being struck by a car, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of North Ross and West 1st streets around 10:58 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a grey 2005 Toyota Corolla that had struck a male pedestrian.

Firefighter paramedics rushed the pedestrian to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

The driver that struck the man remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.

Drugs or alcohol are not suspected to have played a role in the crash.

The intersection where the crash occurred was closed until further notice while police investigated.
