Santa Ana: Man From Stolen Vehicle Arrested After Being Shot By Unknown Suspects

05.09.2022 | 11:22 PM | SANTA ANA – A man associated with a stolen vehicle was arrested after he was shot by unknown suspects, late Monday night.

The man, described as a Hispanic male adult, was stopped by officers near the intersection of West 3rd and North Raitt streets around 11:22 PM.

He told officers that he had just been shot in his leg by one of two unknown assailants.

Further investigation revealed the man was associated with a stolen beige 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe that was located nearby.

Medics treated the man at the scene before police placed him under arrest in connection with the stolen Chevrolet.

No information regarding the suspects who shot at the man was immediately available.
