12.02.2021 | 2:48 AM | SANTA ANA – A man in his 20s was found shot to death on a sidewalk outside an apartment building, early Thursday morning.
Callers reported gunfire in the 900 block of South Minnie Street, near East Wakeham Avenue, around 2:48 AM.
Officers responded to the area and located a male victim in his 20s down on a sidewalk suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Firefighter paramedics attempted to revive the man but later pronounced him deceased on scene.
The area where the man was found was cordoned off with crime scene tape while homicide detectives responded to the scene to investigate.
No suspect description or motive was immediately available and it was too early to say whether the incident was gang-related.
