12.21.2024 | 10:38 PM | SANTA ANA – A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound near a vehicle in the middle of a street, Saturday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting victim in the 2000 block of South Hickory Street around 10:38 PM.
When units arrived they found a white Ford Explorer parked in the middle of the street and a male adult suffering from a gunshot wound nearby.
Medics treated the shooting victim on scene before rushing him to an area hospital in apparently stable condition.
Additional information regarding the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately available.
No motive was disclosed and it was unclear if the victim was shot where he was found or was driven to the location after being shot.
