Santa Ana: Man Found Shot Inside High Rise Apartment Building

12.03.2021 | 7:31 PM | SANTA ANA – A man was tied up and shot inside a high-rise apartment building by two suspects, Friday evening.

Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 22nd floor of the Essex Skyline Apartments at MacArthur Place, located in the 10 block of MacArthur Place, around 7:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male adult inside an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before rushing him to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.

Initial reports indicate the man was tied up by two assailants and shot before being left in the apartment. The suspects then took cash and jewelry before fleeing.

It was not immediately clear if the man was targeted or if the robbery was a random act.

Both the suspects were described only as a male asian and a male white.
