Santa Ana: Man Critically Injured In Stabbing At Cruiser Gathering

01.07.2024 | 7:22 PM | SANTA ANA – A man sustained critical wounds in an altercation that occurred during a gathering of cruisers, Sunday evening.

A large gathering of so-called cruisers convened in the 1400 block of West Edinger Avenue, near South Bristol Street, around 4:00 PM to celebrate the legalization of the practice which was previously outlawed by many cities including Santa Ana.

At around 7:22 PM an altercation broke out in a parking lot that ultimately led to the stabbing of a man described by police as a Hispanic adult.

The stabbing victim sustained multiple wounds to his upper torso and was rushed to a nearby trauma center in critical condition, though he was later stabilized, according to police.

A large crime scene was established following the stabbing incident and police are investigating the circumstances that led to the altercation.

No arrests were immediately reported and no suspect description was available.
