Santa Ana: Woman Found Dead From Stab Wound

08.24.2025 | 12:29 AM | SANTA ANA – A woman was found dead from an apparent stab wound but the circumstances surrounding the discovery remain under investigation, early Sunday morning.

The bloodied body of a female adult was found in a pile of trash adjacent to the railroad tracks running perpendicular to East McFadden Avenue, just east of South Minnie Street, around 12:29 AM.

Medics confirmed the woman was deceased and police said she suffered from at least one stab wound.

Homicide investigators responded to the scene but police said it remained unclear whether the woman’s injuries were the result of an attacker or self-inflicted.

Additional information regarding the woman, including her identify or the circumstances surrounding her death, were not immediately disclosed.
