10.03.2025 | 11:57 PM | SANTA ANA – About ten people escaped injury after a vehicle burst into flames following a three-vehicle crash, late Friday night.
The fiery crash was reported on the southbound SR-55 Freeway, north of Dyer Road, when a 2013 Kia Sorrento, 2018 BMW 3-Series and 2020 Jeep Cherokee collided around, shortly before midnight.
The Kia burst into blames following the crash but about ten people from all of the involved vehicles declined treatment at the scene or transport to a hospital.
Firefighters worked for about 15 minutes to extinguish the car fire during which traffic was temporarily halted.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
