Santa Ana: Driver Flees After Crashing Into Fire Station

02.06.2022 | 1:22 AM | SANTA ANA – A driver who crashed into a fire station fled on foot, early Sunday morning.

The crash was reported at Orange County Fire Authority Station No. 74, located in the 1400 block of South Broadway, around 1:22 AM.

Firefighters walking out of their station located a silver 2008 Acura MDX that had collided with the side of their fire station, shearing a water line in the process.

A male driver was seen walking away from the scene but was not located by police, according to radio traffic.

No injuries were reported and the damage to the fire station was superficial.
