Santa Ana: Driver Dead After Crashing Into Stopped OCTA Bus

09.22.2021 | 8:35 AM | SANTA ANA – A man was dead after crashing into an OCTA that was stopped at a bus stop, Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Westminster Avenue around 8:35 AM.

When units arrived on scene they located an Orange County Transit Authority bus that had been rear-ended by a silver Honda sedan.

The driver of the sedan was treated by firefighter paramedics before being pronounced deceased.

Initial reports indicate the driver of the sedan was traveling northbound on Harbor Boulevard when he rear-ended the OCTA bus that was stopped at a bus stop.

It was unclear if any passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash but no other injuries were immediately reported.
