Santa Ana: Double Shooting Laves One Man Dead

04.28.2020 | 7:23 PM | SANTA ANA – One man was dead following a double shooting, Thursday night.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1400 block of South Minnie Street around 7:23 PM.

When units arrived on scene they located a vehicle in the west alley with an unresponsive male inside and another man down nearby.

Both men had sustained apparent gunshot wounds and were rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

One of the men, identified as 18-year-old Roberto Izelo, of Santa Ana, died at the hospital.

The second victim was in stable condition, according to police.

Surveillance video released by law enforcement captured images of a person with a medium complexion wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and white shoes who is apparently being sought by police.

The circumstances and motive behind the shooting remain under investigation.
